Selina and the Howlin Dogs combines a classic power-trio with the added female lead vocalist playing upbeat funky blues rock with a MODERN feel.

The band members have played together since 2002 with their music being played on Radio 6, BBC Berkshire as well as heard live at countless beer and music festivals such Cornbury Festival, Marvellous Festival, Wokingham Festival and Reading Beer Festival.

Influences include Gary Clark jr, Vintage Trouble, Kyla Brox, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Healey, Rolling Stones, Robben Ford, Led Zeppelin and Muddy Waters.

  • Choko Beer Festival

    Selina and The Howlin Dogs played for us at the 2015 Choko Beer Festival in Cholsey and put on a superb set of original material and covers. In my experience it is always difficult to introduce original material to an non-partisan audience, but with the talented vocals of Selina supported by a great bunch of musicians they carried it off well and had us dancing or humming along to a very accomplished sound, with covers that were well selected and performed to complement their original material. A great band that clearly enjoy what they do, which is evident in their accomplished show, you have to watch for Tobi on the drums and backing vocals, quite a performer. From our point of view it was a delight to have them play for us and we hope to have them back again in the future.
